- [Instructor] With the rise of user experience methods, the case study approach to showing process has become more prevalent in recent years. This approach requires a dedicated visual strategy with your web portfolio that leverages the taxonomy required to provide a chronological order for how a project was completed. It also requires good habits and documentation as you're completing each project. This approach requires more than just sketches and prototypes. It requires a clear story from defining the problem to designing through the solution, including all steps necessary in the final result. In addition to a clear understanding of the process methods being applied, photographs of users, design teams, data collecting, affinity maps and prototypes are all necessary for the case study method to work effectively.
