Now more than ever the do-it-yourself mentality, the resources designers use, and the ability to quickly learn technology make the barriers to our tools less intimidating. What designers do offer are ideas and predictable procedures for consistently positive results. Providing a glimpse into the process used to complete a project is a quick and easy way to show how you arrived at an idea or solution. A glimpse of process via pages form your sketchbook, notes on prototypes, or images of user testing can say volumes about who you are as a design professional. Before considering the glimpse method, determine how much process you have to reveal on all of your projects. Part of telling your story is being consistent.
