Revealing your work in context

- [Narrator] Seeing work in the spaces or places it was intended to be used helps viewers get a sense of your intent. Flat work presented as a PDF on its own, or websites that are presented as screenshots, tell a larger story. It tells the viewer I don't care. Always present your work in the context it was meant to be used. Can you photograph your package project in a scene that helps convey your intent? A website is better served placed on a computer screen with all the necessary responsive options. How does it look on a tablet? What does it look like on your phone? With a live link provided if available. Posters. Those too. Composite posters into context where you intend them to exist, or better yet, print them and photograph them in place. Great designers know their user and consider everything part of the message. Flat page spreads only provide a look into two areas of your skill set: style and technique.
