- [Instructor] The complexity of today's design challenges requires many different skillsets for a successful outcome. Choosing to include collaborative projects in your portfolio is a good idea but can introduce confusion into the experience if you aren't able to clearly identify what role you played in that project. Although it's a good idea to describe your role in all of your projects and give credit to those who supported your work, ensuring people who are viewing your portfolio know exactly what part of a collaborative project you were responsible for will only help clarify how your skills can be applied. Viewers will immediately interpret your role based on two primary areas. First, they'll associate their needs with your work. If they need a designer, they're going to be looking at the design work.
