Cell editing in the Modulation tab
- If you're familiar with how Envelopes and LFO's work, then this next section should be a piece of cake for you to understand. If you're not, you might want to check out Synth Programming Basics by Scott Hirsch to familiarize yourself with some of these concepts before diving into this video. Battery has the ability to modulate a bunch of parameters using LFO's and Envelopes. So let me show you how it works. I'm gonna load the Scotty Kit back up. We'll go ahead and choose this cell here, and then we'll go to the Modulation tab. So let's use LFO 1. This has very standard LFO controls. You can pick from a Sine wave, Sawtooth, Pulse, or Random. We'll just choose Sine for simplicity's sake. Now below that are your Sync options. If you have this button set to Sync Off, then you can adjust the rate of the LFO by turning the frequency knob here. If you like to sync the LFO to your DAW, then you can choose from a myriad of options below Sync Off. You have all these different divisions of…
