- [Instructor] When you kickoff a project, it's important to introduce the team to the project and each other. You might have a meeting to do all that. But you can use Basecamp tools as well. Here we're looking at the page for the Downtown Denver store project. To add a message to kickoff the project, I'm going to click the box for message board. And then I'll click new message. I'll type a title: The Downtown Denver store kickoff. Then in the section for the text, you can add whatever you want to introduce the project. So I'm going to copy what I've written in another program and paste it here. So I talk about he goals for the project, and the approach. With the text in here, you can select text, and click up in the toolbar to apply formatting. Or you could add links, highlighting, make bullet points, or numbered lists. Even attach documents.
