- [Instructor] In the last video, we briefly discussed roles when adding a new member to the account or to a project. So let's go into that a bit deeper. Whenever you add a new member to a project or to your account, you can choose their role and company. Now, that might seem like useless information, but it's actually quite the opposite. Eventually, you will be choosing which people have access to certain data and functions in your project. Now, projects can get pretty large. I've seen projects with 500 members or even more. You don't want to manage that many people one by one or as individuals. It's much more efficient to group them, and that's where roles and companies come in. Let's think about an example. We've got a new subcontractor. Let's call it LIL Construction, for LinkedIn Learning. They just began work on your project, and you need to create a folder to exchange information with that subcontractor.…
