- [Instructor] Anyone with access to BIM 360 can log in and view the files and folders that they've been given permission to. But what if you want to bring a specific file or folder to someone's attention? That's where sharing comes in. There are three places where you can launch sharing for a file or folder. The first is in the file tree over on the left. I can click the ellipses and then click Share. I can also do it in the list view by checking a box next to a single file or folder and then choosing Share from the toolbar at the top. Or I can also click the ellipses next to a file and choose Share in that location. I'll go ahead and select the Madison.rvt file and launch sharing using the toolbar. All I do is enter a name or an email address of the person or people that I want to share it with. For this example I'm just going to share this file with myself.
