- [Instructor] At times you'll have to restore an old version of a file. Perhaps because the current version became corrupted or maybe someone simply changed their mind and you have to roll back to an earlier iteration. Let's see how that's done. In the past video we were working with this Madison.rvt file so we don't we continue to work with that. Restoring an old version is really simple. And in fact we covered it quickly in a prior video. All I do is click on the version number and that will show me the version history. This file has a very simple version history. There's only version one and version two. In a real project you may have files that have version numbers in the three and four digits, that have been going on for months or even years.
