You saw in the last video how BIM 360 stores information about the files that you store within it. Well, what if you have some unique piece of information that you want to store that BIM 360 doesn't cover? That's where custom attributes come in. If I click on the gear icon in the same one that I used earlier to organize the columns you'll notice that I have an add attribute item. I'll go ahead and click that and let's take a look. I can enter a name for my attribute and I'm going to call this Designed By. So I want to capture the person who designed a given file in the project. And you'll notice my choices here are text field, date picker, and drop down menu. So we're just going to use a plain text field here and what I'm intending is for people to enter their initials. So I'll go ahead and click save and you'll notice that if I click the gear icon again the Designed By field pops in at the bottom of the list. Now I…
