- [Instructor] We know that the world of IT is ever-changing. With cloud technologies, the changes are rapid and ongoing. When considering cloud computing, you need to consider many factors, including how will cloud computing evolve and will it be suitable for your organization in the long term? Let's see how the cloud is predicted to develop in the near future. More devices are becoming connected to the cloud, for example, traffic lights, CCTV cameras, home heating controls, and even fridges. This is known as the Internet of Things, or IoT. It's likely that the vast majority of IT services will eventually end up in the cloud, although there will always be a percent of legacy systems that prevail. With more and more data held in the cloud, accessible from anywhere, this will lead to greater mobility of users.
