- [Instructor] So what should you know before you start this course? Well this is a developer course and in order to get the most out of it, I'd recommend that you have a good familiarity of the public cloud. The concepts around what is a deployment and web applications and websites and veons, servers and networks and other services that run in the cloud. You should also have a good grasp within PowerShell. Although we don't dive deep in it, we do use PowerShell at several times. And it is the, one of the main interfaces for working with Azure's resource manager. And then finally, you need to have an editor. And while you don't have to have visual studio to edit resource groups in the templates, there's a lot of good editors out there like VS code. I am gonna be using the resource group, project template which is inside of Visual Studio 2017. The new release. If you have that, you'll be able to follow along and work the course all the way through.
