You can actually direct how traffic flows over your network using routing. After watching this video, you are ready to create a route table and associate it with a network.
- [Instructor] Now, we've seen before … that we can use a network security group … to allow or deny traffic traveling in or out … of an Azure network. … We can also direct the traffic to specific endpoints … instead of following the defaults using a route table. … To create a route table, we go into the portal … and to the Create a Resource button in the top left … and we click it. … We'll type "route table" into the search box … and it will come up as the first option. … We're going to create a route table. … Now to create the route table is very simple. … We simply just need to give it a name, … so I'm going to call it "azsjdnewrt" … because that stands for route table … under my subscription and I'm going to put this … into the resource group that we've been working with … and located in Eastern US. … Now, note that we can enable or disable … the BGP protocol, which is the Border Gateway Protocol, … which will automatically propagate the entries … of this route table into virtual networks …
