- [Instructor] Video is a complex topic.…And the thing about video is that not every video file…that plays nicely on your desktop is suitable…for streaming over the Internet.…I mean, it'll work, but it won't work well,…because, streaming over the Internet introduces…new challenges like bandwidths understanding.…So people with low bandwidth automatically get…a low-bandwidth version.…Or, the content needs to stream itself…in a progressive manner.…We'll worry about all of that later.…
But, for now, I have a simple video file…that I have uploaded here.…It's in mp4 format and I want to be able to stream it…over the Internet.…How do we do that?…Well, it's easy.…You just click this Publish button.…Let's see, how did I find this Publish button?…Assets.…The video.…Go ahead and select the video.…And these other details of the video.…And I'm going to simply hit the Publish button.…So here it tells me the Locator Type is Progressive,…so there are two choices, Progressive and Streaming.…
So this video format that I uploaded…understands only Progressive.…
