Running on-demand code without infrastructure overhead
- [Rodrigo] Have you ever wondered why server-less architectures are becoming one of the preferred ways to build cloud native applications nowadays? One of the most popular server-less services in Microsoft Azure is Azure Functions. An event-driven application platform that allows you to run small pieces of code without worrying about the underlying infrastructure. In this LinkedIn learning course, I'll teach you how to develop robust Azure Functions solutions by using .NET core and that C# programming language. We'll create a fully functional application for uploading, resizing, and analyzing images using Azure cognitive services, visual studio, and the dependence injection technique. My name is Rodrigo Diaz Concha. I'm part of the Microsoft regional directors program and I've been awarded as Microsoft MVP for over a decade. At this moment, in the Azure category. I'll start by covering server-less and Azure Functions' essential topics and components. Then, we'll roll up our sleeves and start coding. There are so many things to do so let's get down to business.
