Restore an Azure virtual machine

- [Instructor] In this lesson, we are going to restore the Azure Virtual Machine LIL file server that we backed up in the previous chapter. I'm going to go ahead and select that virtual machine. Now, you can initiate this restore from the virtual machine, as we are going to do here, or you can also do this from the Recovery Services vault. Either or, the choice is yours. Once you are in the blade for your virtual machine, you'll scroll down, and the select Backup. And you'll notice here that we have 15 backups that we can choose from in the last 30 days, and seven from the last seven days. To restore the VM, go ahead and click on Restore VM at the top of the page. Next, choose a restore point that you will restore from. I'm going to grab the one from yesterday. And then go ahead and click OK. We can now go ahead and configure the restoration settings, and please note the information notice at the top.
