Sharon will detail some of her exam tips that she has acquired over the last 20 years, from exam center tips, personal advice and how she preps for an exam.
- [Instructor] I have lost count of how many industry exams…I have taken over the years.…I have achieved perfect scores to scores that barely passed…and scores that weren't even close to passing.…And here's what I have learned.…I'm going to share my prep tips on…scheduling, personal prep,…the actual exam prep, the objective or topic prep,…and finally, how I've handled exams…that went off the rails because…as the myth busters have taught us,…failure is always an option.…
First, let's look at scheduling.…I like to book my exams at the earliest on a Tuesday.…Most exam centers require 24-hours notice,…if you cannot make the exam,…and some will only re-book you…if you contact them directly.…If you are sick on a Monday,…you really don't have a choice but to write,…as you'll be too late to reschedule.…I always like to leave early,…which gives me a few extra minutes…to get into the right head space before writing the exam.…My nearest testing center is about 45 minutes away.…
Therefore, I always factor in the travel time.…
