- [Instructor] There is currently no specific certification related to PowerShell. However, modern Microsoft Cloud Certification exams will expect you to have a knowledge of PowerShell. Let's take a look at some of the certifications which in order to pass you'll need to have PowerShell skills. When managing IT systems in the cloud, you can expect to use PowerShell. In fact, there's a special variant of PowerShell built in to the online Azure portal called Azure PowerShell. When looking at the prerequisite knowledge for the Microsoft Profession exams the Microsoft Azure Associate-level exams expect that candidates have a proficiency in using PowerShell on the command line interface. The Issues of Fundamentals exam will include questions on understanding Azure tools including PowerShell.
