- [Narrator] Before you start setting up Azure site recovery for either replication or migration, you need to do some planning first. Sure, you can go ahead and set up ASR and hope for the best but that usually doesn't go as planned. Prior to configuring ASR, you will need to know if the virtual machine is even eligible to run in Azure. Once you know the virtual machine can run in Azure, then you need to determine the current disk performance usage to match up in Azure virtual machine. As well as the vCPU and storage requirements for those Azure instances.
