- [Instructor] So now it's time to talk a bit more about the exam itself and what to expect on the day. At the time of recording, all Microsoft exams have moved to be online. But even prior to that, many people chose this method of taking the exam rather than traveling to an exam center. With this in mind, I thought we should cover what to expect from an exam taken with an online proctor. Online proctoring means that you can take the exam from the comfort of your own home. Prior to the exam day, you'll want to carry out a system check on your machine. This will involve checking that you have a working webcam, microphone, and a fast enough internet connection to maintain the connection throughout the exam. Ideally, this system check should be done from wherever you're planning on taking the exam.
