- [Narrator] Hello, welcome to mixed reality fundamentals. Today I will be talking about user movement in mixed reality. In a virtual environment movement can be a tricky feature to design. Yet, it is something that almost every developer will need to address in their own application. When immersed virtual space, the user will have a compelling desire of moving around and explore. Most headsets nowadays use sensor tracking to allow the avatar move in the virtual space by matching the user physical movement in the real world. In our guide, we will discuss in detail how to implement those different mechanics in regard of both code and design, avoiding possible discomforts your user might have moving in your virtual scene. My tip for you today is to carefully consider which of these mechanics are best suited for your project.
