- [Narrator] Azure virtual networks by default are dedicated to your tenant but run on shared hardware. Alternatively, your organization can procure a system which runs on dedicated hardware to help meet compliance standards based on your business requirements. You can launch your Azure resources such as compute instances into your virtual network. Network administrators can specify an IP address range for a virtual network, segregate via subnets, define custom traffic routes, and implement inbound and outbound traffic control with security groups at the virtual machine instance level. Azure's virtual networks provide many benefits like security through isolation and segmentation where you can configure private IP address spaces or reserve public IPs, create a subnet by segmenting a VNet address space, leverage Azure DNS or configure your own DNS server.
