LoadBalancing is one major benefit of the AKS environment for most Cloud Native applications, and with Kubernetes Ingress extensions, it is possible to create complex routes in an efficient fashion by leveraging a single internal load balancer service and relying heavily on the ingress functions in Kuberentes.
- [Instructor] In our chapter directory, … you can do an ls. … We have an Ingress document … so we're going to do more on Ingress.md. … Now Ingress is a part of the networking services group … of capabilities. … And we've actually already been using one of them … which is the default load balancer resource. … The load balancer by default will create … an externally accessible … or publicly accessible load balanced resource … that can then be added to standard DNS environments … and pointed to for applications … to be delivered to end users. … That is, by default external. … It's also possible to create load balancers … that are internal to a cluster … but that requires advanced networking configurations. … In this case we're going to create an Ingress … which is a nice way of expanding the resources … against a single external load balancer … and we can also use an add on feature … that is enabled by the AKS environment … to create an Ingress very easily. … We can also follow standard Ingress procedures …
