- [Instructor] So here I am on the AWS virtual machine, and what I wanna do is join the virtual machine to the active directory environment that we just created. So the first thing that I have to do is provision this virtual machine with the IP addresses of the two DNS servers that we just looked up in the previous video. And we do that the same way that we would do if this virtual machine were residing on premises. I'm going to right click on the start button, and I'm going to go to Control Panel. Next, I'm gonna click on Network and Internet, and then go to Network and Sharing Center, and then I'm going to go to Change adaptor settings. And here we see the network adaptor for this virtual machine. So I'm going to right click on the network adaptor, and then choose Properties, and then I'm going to go to Internet Protocol Version 4, and click Properties. And you can see that right now the IP address is being assigned dynamically. So what I wanna do is use a static DNS server…
