- [Instructor] In today's Kubernetes environment, … we're often looking at deploying the two classes … of resource, instead of looking at Kubernetes as a whole. … And specifically what I mean by that is, … we're looking at deploying the master resources, … which are effectively the control plan … of the Kubernetes environment, … separate from the worker resources, or the mode resources … in the Kubernetes environment. … This makes for a nice separation of resources … because the control plane is usually where we're looking … at things like trying to manage backups and recovery … of the entire environment. … The control plane is often scaled out … to a number of resources of its own … and created as separate resources … from the node resources themselves. … This makes for a nice way of separating those two domains. … What we're finding now is … that many public cloud providers … are actually making this even easier for us, … taking over the control plane scalability … and the need to scale the control plane …
