- [Instructor] Okay, we've looked at our motivations for doing this project and we thought a little bit about what we might expect as outcomes for the business but how do we actually go about creating a plan to turn all this into reality? What we need to do is take our motivations and our objectives and turn them into something actionable. The cloud adoption plan is what aligns the efforts of the technical team with that overall business strategy. So the first thing we need to do is look at our digital estate as it exists at the moment. We can't even begin to think about migrating until we really know what we're dealing with. So step one, in defining your plan is a thorough audit of your existing assets. Now this includes any hardware, it includes operating systems, storage, networking.
