- [Instructor] Define team collaboration strategy. Let's talk a little bit about the culture of collaboration. To start with, let's talk about encouraging transparent communication. Staff should be encouraged to communicate openly and frankly. Learning to deal with conflict is important for any team, as there will be disagreements at some point. Learning to diffuse situations is a skill all teams should be trained on. It's important that team members don't harbor resentments that could make a team less productive. Meetings, all meetings should have a timeframe and an agenda. If there is no agenda, then the meeting should wait until there is a solid agenda. Organizations tend to have ad hoc meetings at a moment's notice. While this may be good for team members that are in the meeting, the rest of the team is left out.
