The process of connecting Azure Disk Storage to Kubernetes is fairly straightforward, as there are default storage classes created in a default AKS environment. However, these classes act much like scratch storage in that the deletion of a persistent claim will also delete the underlying storage. This video focuses on creating a class that keeps the storage around unless explicitly deleted.
