Creating function apps in the Azure portal

- In this video, we'll see how to create a new function app by using the Azure Portal. As you can see here, I created this Azure Functions research group beforehand in order to expedite this process. So I'm going to click on this add button, and here I'm going to select the function app template that I have here under the popular category. So let's click on that, and here I'm prompted to choose the desired configuration for this function app. In terms of the research group, well, I don't have to do anything else because I came here from the research group itself, so Azure Functions, it's fine. Here I'm going to specify the function app name, which is Azure Functions for Developers. This is the name that I'm going to use. And here you have to select if you want to publish code or a Docker container. Please note that if you select the Docker container option, then you don't have to select the runtime stack.
