Create a VM in the portal
how we can create a virtual machine. If I press Virtual machines in here it will show me all the existing virtual machines which I have none of at the moment. I can press Add here to create one if I'm already on the Virtual machines. Or I can choose a Create resource. When you look at the Create resource everything that has to do with virtual machines that I want to choose. And I would go in and just choose whatever machine I prefer. So I will start with a Windows Server 2016 Data Center. The first page that I have is about the subscription and the resource group that I want to use. So I can either choose an existing resource group or actually I can create a new one which would be called IS-portal. So we are creating that in the portal and RG, so this is the resource group name. The name for this virtual machine would be S dash portal, so this is the name of the virtual machine.
