- [Narrator] Now it's time to talk about conversational AI. Conversational AI, as we have seen before is, the ability of a software agent generally referred to as a bot, to participate in a conversation. Bots are becoming more prominent nowadays, as they allow users to communicate by using skills, they already have. Such as the speaking or writing, instead of having to learn an interface or figuring out where to click. Bots are generally quite good when the conversation is relatively straightforward, and limited choice small set of predefined options, Such as a delivery order or table reservation or booking flights, car and hotels. The main component for conversational AI at Microsoft, is the bot framework. However, it also tends to rely heavily on other cognitive services.
