Configure application gateway routing rules

- [Instructor] All right. We have the application gateway. We have the front end, the backend pool. We have a health probe created. We have everything except a rule that ties everything up. We are going to click on application gateway, and then, rules. These rules will connect one listener with a specific backend pool and our front end hype configuration. So it is like tying everything together in a single element. We can create two types of rules, basic rules that will connect one listener to one backend pool, or a path based rule that is specific to certain paths or certain URLs that we can configure. In this case, we are going to create a basic rule. Let's click on + Basic and we will name this rule, rule2. Now we have to select one of the listeners we have created.
