Configure an application gateway listener

- [Instructor] All right, the next thing we need to do is configure some type of listener to our application gateway. We're going to click on "AppGW", our application gateway, and go down to "listeners". Listeners allow the application gateway to understand what type of traffic is coming in, so it can be redirected to a backup pool. We already have one listener created, listener one, was created during the creation of the application gateway. But we're going to create a new one. The new listener could be basic, which is a single type of traffic, or a multi-site, which is able to differentiate different types of sites, based on for example, the header for the HTTP request. We are going to create a basic listener. We will click on "basic", and we are going to call it "listener two". We then need to select one IP for the front end.
