- [Instructor] As we get started with looking at our different cloud technologies, we have to understand the broad platform choices, and whether you're using Azure or Amazon or Google, these choices are fundamentally going to be the same thing. There are industry terms and choices that we're going to talk about in this arena, in this chapter. It's different platforms and models that we're going to talk about, really specifically, methodologies, and whenever we think about cloud, one of the first methodologies we've always used is on prem or on premises technologies, and these are our data centers that we have physically located to our facilities. The great thing about those is you have complete control over those. The bad thing about those is you had complete control over those. You had to really work with that environment.
