- [Narrator] The second half of this section is about Azure Blob storage. Blob storage is an extremely cost effective solution. The main advantage of this offering is that you can store a vast amount of unstructured data. The current limit on a storage account is 5 pebibytes. A pebibyte is about 1.1 petabytes. So in scenarios where you have extremely high volumes of data, Blob storage can be a great and relatively cheap storage option. Within a Blob store, the items, these could be anything from images to videos to bytes, et cetera, can be organized into containers. Within a container the data is stored in a flat structure. Though, a file like structure can be imitated using file names which contain slashes like the one shown here. For the exam you'll need to know how to access and manipulate the Blob items within a Blob storage account. You'll also need to know how to move these items between accounts and containers. This…
