- [Instructor] The benefits of Source Control. So what are some of the benefits of Source Control? Well, the first thing is we can create some kinds of workflows with our teammates. So we will have our own personal workflows too where we're doing some work. We might get in the morning, we may sit down at our desk, we may pop open our favorite IVE, VS code, whatever it is we're using. Download the latest version from Git or TFVC, whichever version control system we're using, if we're using one, we should be. But that routine of getting started in the morning and pulling it down or checking it out, starting your work, making sure you have the latest version, doing your work, doing early commits in early enough and having your feature branch to work from or something.
