Azure restore solutions
- [Instructor] In the last chapter, we looked at various options for backing up files and folders, workloads, and even virtual machines that were hosted in Azure or on a Hyper-V server. We also discussed backing up system state and bare-metal backups. In this chapter, we're going to restore some of those backups. I'll be showing you how to restore Azure virtual machines, as well as the files that were protected when you use the Azure virtual machine backup, we'll look at how to restore files and folders that were protected using the Azure backup agent, followed by restoring workloads, specifically SQL, when we protected them using the Azure backup server. Next, we'll restore the Hyper-V virtual machines as well as restoring the Azure long-term SQL database. And finally, we'll restore the Azure file shares. As you may recall, that was the feature that was added during the recording of the course. By the end of this chapter, you'll understand how to restore the backups that you have already configured.
