- [Instructor] With this, we come to the final clip of this chapter. In this clip, we're going to be talking about autoscaling in Azure to improve the performance of your application. The best way to understand autoscaling is to look at a demonstration. So let us do just that. Within the Azure portal, I'm going to go look for Azure Monitor here, and let's look for Autoscale setting here, and let's select the resource group for our reference application. So here's the App Service plan that is hosting our reference application. Let's go ahead and select that. We have two choices here. Of course, we can manually scale our application, or we can use automation, which is of course our goal. So we're going to scale based on schedule, based on a metric.
