- [Instructor] So, when talking about building applications and hosting them on Azure, of course the Azure App Service, it's always a good choice. Regarding autoscaling, how can the Azure App Service integrate with autoscaling? So, let's start to talk a little bit about the App Service. I can very easily build an application and then host it on the Azure App Service. The Azure App Service is a PaaS offering, so a Platform-as-a-Service, so there is not much for the administrators to manage like there is if you host in a virtual machine. If you choose the host your workload on a virtual machine, you need to do all the patching yourself, the security from top to bottom, et cetera. With the App Service, that does not happen because Microsoft is responsible for doing the patching and it's also responsible for a part of the infrastructure security.
