- [Narrator] So why are we running machine learning based systems on public clouds? Well, it's really a matter of commoditizing what machine learning can do and providing systems that were pretty typically resource intensive and therefore expensive, as a service over the open internet. So instead of buying massive amounts of hardware and putting it in a data center and having us run it from that data center, we are able to leverage a multi-tenet system to become a tenet on a particular public cloud provider which provides machine learning services. So all public cloud providers, the major ones, including the ones you see here, provide machine learning services you're able to leverage as a service out of the public clouds and therefore, that's caused a couple of things.
