- [Instructor] Now, let's take a look at the third CRUD operation, updating groups. You must already be a pro at this by now, so here's what you can do for fun. Pause the video and see if you can guess this table right. Unpause and then continue to see if your guess matches with what I have on the screen. Okay, let's continue now. For security groups synchronized from on premises, any modification would need to be made on premises and have it synchronized to the cloud through AD Connect because again, same concept, source of authority. Then for cloud native security groups, any changes needed are made within Azure AD because it has no trace on premises whatsoever. Next for Microsoft 365 groups, all updates to its attributes need to be made in the cloud, which may then propagate to an on-premises environment if there is group writeback or else it stays within the confines of the cloud.
