- [Narrator] Now, let's talk about preparing the environment needed for successfully installing AD Connect on Premises. If you have ever deployed products like exchange, share point, or system center, you are going to find this to be quite simple. That's because AD Connect isn't very demanding when it comes to installation prerequisites or resources. A few simple tweaks here and there, and you should be ready. So, let's see what those are. First, let us very specially define the components that need repairing. Basically, everything that AD Connect depends on, or interacts with. The list includes the domain controller running the ADDS role, the server on which we will be installing the AD Connect tool, it's sequence sever database, firewall rules for allowing communication and synchronization among the components, and the Azure AD Tenant.
