In this chapter, we'll understand how synchronizing to Azure AD can impact the behavior of objects or the nature of administration for users and devices. So, in order to make sure that there are no surprises, you need to plan for them and have a well-defined strategy. So, let's see what that encompasses. There are three types of sign-in methods that you can configure for users in your organization during the AD Connect installation. Those are Password Hash Synchronization, Pass-Through Authentication, and the Active Directory Federation Services Authentication.
