- You know, that AD Connect consists of three internal components. The Health, Sync Engine and the ADFS component. The Health component of AD Connect is responsible for collecting and sending the health information of AD Connect servers, to Microsoft Azure. You can then view this collected data, in the AD Connect health portal in Azure. It's a dedicated page that displays the detailed operational status, of your organization's identity infrastructure. This includes things like AD Connect server status, uptime, and synchronization errors, if any, among other things. By default, the health component only reports the status of the AD Connect server. This is the default scope of data collection. But if you wish, you can expand this code to your other identity servers like, domain controllers.
