- [Narrator] The chapter we've all been waiting for, Deploying AD Connect. You already know what going to happen here. So, without any further ado, let's jump right in. When you start installing AD Connect, the wizard gives you two deployment methods to choose from. The Express Mode or the Custom Mode. You need to pick one and begin the installation process. Now, which one should we choose? The answer to that question lies in the differences between the two modes. Here's how they are different from one another. Express Mode is essentially running through the installation with all the Microsoft default settings. So, it's quicker. On the other hand, the Custom Mode is highly customizable. You can choose exactly what you need for each setting, and so it's a bit more time consuming. Express Mode is ideal for single forest environments. Whereas the Custom Mode can be used for either single or multi-forest environments.…
