Blocking user account sign-ins
- [Instructor] Blocking User Account Sign-Ins. I mentioned this in the last slide, so let's get to know more about it. The flow here works very similarly to the previous operation. If you want to temporarily stop a hybrid user account from signing in, you'd disable it on premises. And this change then comes into effect in the cloud through AD Connect. If you want to temporarily stop a cloud account from signing in, you do it in the cloud by configuring its Block Sign-In property. This is likely different in the naming convention. It's called Disabling On-Premises and Blocking in the Cloud. But, both pretty much do the same thing. And it goes without saying, blocking a cloud user sign in has got nothing to do with Windows Server.
