Join Brian Thurston Bralczyk for an in-depth discussion in this video Creating and placing a master, part of Axure for UX Design.
…Okay.…So let's get started actually creating our first Master.…We've got this great header on our home page.…We've got the logo doing a fun bounce when you hover,…and each of our navigation widgets links off to its corresponding page.…So we want to have all of the headers widgets, included inside of our master.…And that includes their styles and interactions.…So let's switch back to Axure and take a look at that.…If you're following along with the exercise files,…I've got the Chapter 7 02 file open now.…There's two ways to create a new master in Axure.…
The first is to go down to the master's pane here in the…lower left, and click the little pink icon with the plus on it.…Similar to creating a page in the site map, it adds a…master to the list, and lets us name it whatever we want.…And just like a page, I can double-click it…to open it up in the design area for editing.…We can drag any widget we want onto the master, and if I…select this rectangle, I can style it just like I would on a page.…All that's pretty simple.…
