- [Instructor] When we deploy an Autodesk product, it's kind of useless unless we configure the licensing to go with it. Now, the licensing is basically a text file with the extension of .lic. It has to go on a licensed server which is running what's called a license manager. Let's take a look at how to obtain a license file. I'm going to open a web browser. I'm in Chrome, but you can open any web browser that you feel comfortable with. I'm going to log into my Autodesk account. Come over here and sign in to my Autodesk account. This is me, and I'm going to Stay signed in, and I'm going to SIGN IN. Now it jumps into my Products. What I'm going to do is come over to QUICK LINKS. Underneath QUICK LINKS, I'm going to go to Generate Network License File. We have one of three different types of servers we can use. I'm going to go with the Single Server setup, which is the most popular. Let's click Select. Okay, I'm going to add the Server name here, and the MAC address here. Now, what I've…
