What you should know

- What you should know before you begin this particular course about Autodesk hardware configuration. You should have a working knowledge of your Autodesk software, whether that be AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor or 3ds Max. You should know how to work with software and hardware settings. So ideally you should know where to find your software settings and your hardware settings on your respective operating system, whether that be a Windows OS, or a Mac OS. You should know about video settings, such as 4K and HD, sometimes known as 1080p. You should also know your OS, Windows OS, and Mac OS. It's really important because there are differences between your Windows OS and your Mac OS. The majority of this course will be based on Windows I hasten to add, and there won't be much mention of the Mac OS at all. So be aware that there are differences between the two OS's when you're working with both your software and hardware configurations.
