- [Instructor] So what should you know before taking this particular AutoCAD course? Well, the first thing you should know is that we will be working with the latest version of AutoCAD, which is AutoCAD 2019 at the moment. Now, all of the drawing files that you'll be using for this particular course will be saved back to an older DWG file format. So, don't worry about that, you'll still be able to open the files if you're taking this course using a slightly older version of AutoCAD. What else should you know before taking this course? Well, you should have a good, basic working knowledge of AutoCAD in general. Because some of the terminology in this particular course is not at a basic level. You need to understand AutoCAD to take this particular course. That's why it's called Advanced Workflow with Sheet Sets. So the idea being is you've got a good working knowledge of AutoCAD. Now, if you don't have that working knowledge of AutoCAD, there is an excellent AutoCAD 2019 Essential Training course out there in the library. It also goes back to older versions of AutoCAD as well. There are older Essential Training courses as well if you need to learn from a previous version of AutoCAD too. So those are the two things that you should know before you take this course. We're using AutoCAD 2019 and you need to have a good, working knowledge of AutoCAD to take this course.
